Isabelle Fielding Ltd – finding my brand

I’ve been running my own business since 2018 and I have to say, it’s been quite the ride! I started out consulting as ‘Dragonfly Clinical Solutions’, mainly to the clinical research industry, using my specialist knowledge and experience to help other organisations serve their customers, develop their services and look for opportunities for growth.

I then began to add other skills to my toolkit, getting qualifications in team coaching and embarking on a professional coach diploma. And as I undertook this training, I reconnected with my love of psychology – which I have two degrees in, and had originally specialised in during the first 15 years of my career, before I rose up the ranks into senior leadership.

As I began to get more coaching clients, I realised I needed to rebrand, but struggled for some time to connect all the dots. What was the common thread that held together my vast knowledge the clinical research industry, my leadership experience, my coaching qualifications, my psychology degrees and my research and scientific skills?

And of course, the answer was starting me in the face! The common thread was me. My unique, and not always linear career path, was my strength, not my weakness! I could bring my strong scientific background, my training in psychology, my understanding of leadership and the workings of organisations, into the professional development world, providing evidenced-based services, rooted in psychological models and theories to my 1 to 1 coaching, team coaching and training development services.

And so Isabelle Fielding Ltd was born. No fancy name, no clever play on words, and crucially, no hiding.

I will certainly evolve, and who knows, maybe a new business name is in my future as I grow and respond to the needs of my customers. But for now, my customers can be reassured that they are investing in me, Isabelle Fielding, and my very personal and unique brand.
