Portfolio
I’m delighted to be able to share a snapshot of some of the projects I’ve been involved in over the last few years. Much of the work I do takes place behind the scenes and isn’t in the public domain, so it’s always a real thrill when a paper is published or a client kindly gives permission for a case study to be shared.
This collection brings together examples of work across research, coaching, leadership development, workplace wellbeing and applied psychology. It includes publications, podcast conversations, media contributions and case studies that reflect both the evidence-based and practical nature of my work.
I’m incredibly proud to have contributed to these projects and grateful to the clients, collaborators and organisations who have trusted me to work alongside them.
Papers and Articles
PLAY FOR CHANGE
I was so delighted to be invited to contribute to the research informing this policy paper from the Centre for Homelessness Impact, exploring the role of sport in homelessness prevention.
I supported this piece of work through stakeholder interviews, case study writing and desk top research.
WOMEN COUNT
This was a fascintating project which involved desktop research, stakeholder interviews and data analysis to build a picture of the current status of the gender paygap, and synthesise research and commentary on what might be done about it.

KINTSUGI
I had lots of fun writing this article for KINTSUGI magazine, offering a different take on procrastination. I explored how putting off important pieces of work is sometimes not an avoidance of work, but an avoidance of the thoughts and feelings that the work evokes.

CATALYST SUPPORT
It's always nice to be invited to work with a local organisation, and I really enjoyed supporting the team at mental health charity, Catalyst Support to develop an evaluation framework so that they can better evidence the amazing work that they do.
WATER AID
Another collaboration with Research Your Way, this was a dream project - a year long thinking partnership with the L&D team at WaterAid. We worked together to explore the difference Leadership Learning was making, identified enables and barriers to change and developed a toolkit to evaluate future Leadership Learning programmes.
NHS WELLBEING WORKSHOP
I really enjoyed delivering this workshop with burnout specialist Hazel Anderson-Turner. We worked with a fantastic group of peadiatric nurses exploring how they could work together to enhance collective wellbeing. It was brilliant to have the opportunity to support a team doing such important work in sometimes challenging circumstances.
